Everyday Skincare Routine

Hello Fellas!

Welcome back to our blog "BeyoubyEscapist".

Today's post is about daily skincare routine. It is very important to follow a daily morning and night skincare routine in order to keep your skin healthy and glowing. The main steps of skincare is CTM. CTM means cleansing, toning & moisturizing, but apart from these steps, there are few other steps you need to add in your daily skin care regime. So, here I'm sharing my daily morning skincare routine.

1.Cleansing - The First step of skin care routine is to clean you face. You need to clean your face at least twice a day with any face wash that suits you, currently I'm using Himalaya herbals purifying neem face wash. It is very gentle on skin and a perfect face wash for winter. Cleansing will help you to get rid off all the dirt, excess oil and make your skin feel fresh. It also helps your skin to absorb all the goodness of the products that you are going apply after cleaning your face.

2.Exfoliating - Second step is to exfoliate your skin. It will remove dead skin cells, blackheads and whiteheads from your face. You can use any face scrub of your choice or else you can make your natural DIY face scrub. These days I'm using Clean & Clear blackhead clearing daily scrub. Take little bit of scrub,Spread it all over your face and rub gentlely in circular motion for 2-3  minutes. Remember Scrub your face only twice a week.

3. Toning - Toning is the 3rd step but it would be the 2nd step when you are not exfoliating your skin. Toning will balance the PH level of your skin, helps in tightening your pores and also soothes your skin. I am using rose water by Dabur Gulabari, you can use any toner of your choice. Spread the toner all over your face with the help of a cotton pad or cotton ball.

4. Serum - A face serum is the first product you need apply after cleansing and toning. It will help to minimize pores and prevents new breakouts. It Also helps your skin to lock all the good properties of the moisturiser you are going to apply afterward. I'm using Patanjali Aloe Vera gel as a face serum. Take pea sized amount of it and spread gently all over your face, believe me it works exactly like any other face serum you will find in the market.

5.Moisturizing - After applying serum it is very important to apply a moisturizer. Take little bit moisturiser on your finger tip and massage gentlely in circular motion all over your face in upward direction. It will nourish your skin and keep your skin hydrated. Always choose moisturizer according to your skin type.  I'm using nivea soft light moisturiser. This is a light weight moisturizing cream enrich with vitamin E that perfect for everyday use.

6.Sunscreen- The finnal and most important step of morning skin care routine is to apply a sunscreen. Never ever forget to wear a sunscreen otherwise your whole skin care routine will go in vain. Sunscreens will protect your skin from harmful UV rays that can cause sun burns, wrinkles and fine lines. I love using Neutrogena Ultra -Sheer dry touch sunblock. It is a light weight sunblock cream that doesn't feels greasy at all and perfectly suitable for any skin type.

7. Lip Balm - Lastly, your lips are also equally important as your skin. So,don't forget to apply a lip balm. It will keep your lips moisturise and hydrated. Currently I'm using Biotique bio aloe vera lip balm. This is an amazing lip balm that heals chapped lips so fast and makes your lips soft & supple.

These are the steps of my morning skin care routine. Now coming to night skin care routine,my night skin care regime is also same as the morning but if you have any make up on then you need to remove make up first before using face wash. Also need to skip exfoliation and sunscreen at night. The steps goes like,

1. Removing make up, 2.Cleansing, 3.Toning, 4.Apply Serum, 5.Moisturizing and 6.apply lip balm.

Hello fellas!

Welcome back to our blog "BeyoubyEscapist".

Today I'm sharing 7 ways to use aloe vera gel in your daily life.

Aloe Vera is known as "Miracle Plant" and indeed it acts as miracle.  Aloe Vera is enrich with vitamin A,vitamin E ,vitamin C that makes it very beneficial for skin & hair care and it also has gibberellin , gibberellins are antibacterial in nature which helps in healing any kind of scars.

You will find lots of brand selling aloe vera gel in the market. You can choose anyone or if you have aloe plant at home then you can extract fresh aloe vera gel from aloe vera leaf.

I'm using Patanjali Aloe Vera gel, it is 90% aloe Vera gel with some preservatives and this is one of the best aloe vera gel available in market. It is very affordable and works wonders for me.I recommend everyone to give it a try at least once. It comes in 2 different sizes

60ml - 40 Rs.

150ml-80 Rs.

Now let's begin with the Aloe Vera gel hacks.

1.Under Eye Gel- I'm using aloe Vera gel as a under eye gel for past one year, believe me it works pretty much same as those expensive under eye cream or gel.
All you need to do is take little bit of aloe Vera gel on your ring fingers and massage gentlely around your eyes for 1 minute, every night before going to bed. It will enhance the blood circulation , moisturise your dry under eye area and also helps in reducing dark circles & puffiness around your eyes.

2.Face Mist - We all love using facial mists, the facial mists in the market are quite expensive but don't worry Aloe Vera gel can solve your purpose.
Take a empty sterilize spray bottle, fill the half of the bottle with Ro water or distilled water, mix 2 table spoon of aloe vera gel and 1 tea spoon of glycerin in it. Now close the bottle with its cap and shake bottle really well to mix the the ingredients all together. You can also use  few drops of lavender oil in it for the fragrance but this step is purely optional. This face mist will moisturise your sikn and keep it hydrated as well.
you can also use this face mist as make up setting spray because we add glycerin in it,glycerin will help your make up to stay in place. But don't worry about the stickiness of glycerin because aloe & water will balance it.
Make sure shake the bottle before every use. In summers you need to store it in refrigerator and in winter you can can store it in room temperature for 15 - 20 days.

3.Make Up Primer - It is very essential to apply a primer before applying make up because it makes your make up long lasting and smooth. Also it creates a wall between make up products and your skin so the make up can't harm your skin. But buying a primer every now and then can be little heavy on pocket, so you can use aloe vera gel as a make up Primer. Believe me it will make your make up stick so long to its place as any make up primer does and it is also going to moisturise your skin as well. All you need to do is just take a pea size amount of aloe vera gel and gently spread it all over your face then start applying your make up.
